Rollover crash closes lane on I-295 in Burlington Township

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Authorities were called to a rollover wreck last Friday afternoon on Interstate 295 in Burlington Township, according to Daily Voice.

The accident impacted the northbound lanes south of Exit 47 to Route 541, or Burlington-Mount Holly Road. It was first reported by the New Jersey Department of Transportation at around 1:15 p.m.

Little information has been shared, but the right lane and right shoulder were blocked in the immediate aftermath.

At this time, it remains unclear why the vehicle overturned or whether another vehicle was involved.
