Motorcyclist dies after crash at Robbinsville intersection

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 22-year-old Monmouth County resident was fatally hurt Friday evening when his motorcycle collided with a car in Robbinsville, according to Daily Voice.

Authorities said the collision occurred in the area of Route 539 (Old York Road) and Montgomery Way, at around 5:49 p.m.

The circumstances of the wreck were not immediately clear, but the young man, of Allentown, was riding a motorcycle when it hit a Toyota Camry driven by a 47-year-old Pennsylvania man.

First responders rushed the rider to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, confirmed officials.

The driver of the Toyota was not reported injured.

It was unclear which operator was at fault in the fatal crash, but an investigation remains underway.
