MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — One person was seriously injured Thursday night when they were hit by a vehicle in northwest Lincoln Park, according to local media.
Lincoln Park Police responded to the scene in the area of 264 Jacksonville Road, shortly after the incident occurred at 8:25 p.m.
Officers called for EMS support after arriving to find the unidentified victim suffering from a severe leg injury.
First responders rushed the patient to a local hospital. No updates on their condition has been released, but they are expected to recover.
Authorities have not released any information on the driver of the striking car, but no one else was reported hurt.
