BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Multiple local agencies responded to a rollover crash early Wednesday involving two pickup trucks in Hackensack, reports Daily Voice.

The accident happened on Clay Street, near Railroad Place, just after 4:30 a.m.

Hackensack Police did not share the cause of the wreck, but a driver in one Ford F-150 pickup truck collided with another, causing it to roll onto its side and split its front axle.

Officials said the causing driver was able to self-extricate from the vehicle through a rear window after the collision.

Personnel with the Hackensack Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Hackensack University Medical Center ALS treated him at the scene. It was unclear whether he had to be taken to a hospital or whether anyone else was hurt.

Both vehicles required towage from the site, suggesting significant damage.
