CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — A 40-year-old Vineland woman died Tuesday evening after a rollover crash on Route 47 in Dennis Township, according to Daily Voice.
The fatal accident occurred on the northbound lanes (North Delsea Drive) near milepost 16.8, in the South Dennis area, at about 7:33 p.m.
New Jersey State Police said the woman was driving northbound when, for reasons still unclear, her vehicle veered off the roadway, hit a tree and rolled over.
Authorities indicated the victim, Melissa DeJesus, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the event.
NJSP continues to investigate.
