BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Property damage was reported Wednesday morning after an idling SUV rolled and hit a home in Woodcliff Lake, according to Daily Voice.
The incident was reported at 39 Mulholland Drive, located at the end of a cul-de-sac. At around 9:30 a.m., a building inspector had been called to the scene to assess the house’s structural safety.
Woodcliff Lake Police said a neighbor across the street had left their Lexus NX300 SUV in drive, which allowed it to roll and crash into the victim residence.
Photos taken at the scene suggest relatively minor damage to the Lexus, but crews from Rich’s Towing responded to the area to remove the vehicle.
No injuries have been reported in the event.
At this time, it is unclear whether anyone was issued a summons.
