1 hit, seriously hurt by car on NJ-73 in Winslow Township

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — One person was severely injured Sunday night due to a pedestrian crash on New Jersey Route 73 in Winslow Township, according to local media.

Camden County Police said the incident was reported near Georgia Avenue. First responders were called to the scene at about 7:00 p.m.

The circumstances behind the event have not been disclosed, but police and EMS members arrived to find the victim suffering from serious after being hit by a vehicle.

The patient was rushed to a local hospital where they were listed in critical condition.

It remains unclear at this time whether the driver remained at the scene. No arrests or pending charges have been reported as of this writing.
