Injuries reported after crash on I-295 SB in West Deptford

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Authorities responded to an injury collision Thursday morning on Interstate 295 in West Deptford Township, according to Daily Voice.

The wreck occurred on the southbound interstate north of Exit 20 to Mid-Atlantic Parkway. It was first reported by the New Jersey Department of Transportation just before 9:30 a.m.

Officials have not provided information regarding the cause of the wreck or the types of vehicles involved, but two of three southbound lanes were blocked as a result.

Injuries were reported in the event, but the exact number of people hurt and the severity of their conditions have not been confirmed. It was unclear how many patients had to be taken to a hospital.
