BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — One person was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle wreck involving a big rig on Route 17 near Rochelle Park, according to Daily Voice.
Authorities said the collision took place on the northbound lanes near Woodland Avenue. It was first reported at around 12:00 p.m.
The circumstances behind the crash were unclear, but a Volvo sedan collided with the tractor-trailer, causing the car’s rear-passenger side tire to become detached.
One person was reported hurt, but no information on the severity of their condition has been disclosed.
A section of the highway was shut down at Woodland Avenue during the emergency response and initial investigation.
