BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — One person was sent to a hospital Tuesday morning after their SUV struck a utility pole in Glen Rock, according to Daily Voice.
The accident happened on Maple Avenue, near Ackerman Avenue, at about 7:45 a.m. Glen Rock Police responded to the scene shortly after.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but officers arrived to find a driver in a silver Honda CRV.
The driver, who suffered chest pains in the aftermath, was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson by Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps members.
Photos taken at the crash site show significant damage to the right side of the vehicle’s front-end.
A section of Maple Avenue was shut down as tow crews worked to clear the wreckage.
