OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — One person was seriously hurt late Saturday night due to a rollover crash that left them trapped in northwest Brick Township, according to Ocean County Scanner.
The accident happened in the area of Chambers Bridge Road and Lakeland Drive, near Brick Township High School and Ocean County Golf Course at Forge Pond. It was first reported by OC Scanner shortly before 11:49 p.m.
Authorities have not shared details on the circumstances behind the crash, but a vehicle rolled in a crash and landed on its side.
Responding fire crews had to stabilize the vehicle in order to safely extricate a victim, who was trapped in the wreckage. The patient was then airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with a serious head injury.
It was unclear whether another vehicle was involved.
No further information has been made available, but an investigation was underway.
