BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — An SUV was sent crashing along the side of nail salon Tuesday morning after a crash off New Jersey Route 17 in Paramus, reports Daily Voice.
The accident happened off the northbound lanes just north of East Ridgewood Avenue at around 7:15 a.m. Paramus Police and fire crews responded to the scene shortly after.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but authorities said a Chevy Suburban livery vehicle collided with a Nissan Murano, causing the second vehicle to overturn. The Suburban veered off the highway and came to a stop along the Happy Nail & Spa salon and a roll-off trash bin.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but both vehicles had to be towed from the area, causing traffic jams.
Photos taken in the aftermath of the wreck suggest minor damage to the building’s exterior. The business appeared to be temporarily closed Tuesday. An estimate of the costs in property damage has not been released.
It remains unclear at this time whether any charges are expected to be filed.
