ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — A 36-year-old Pennsylvania woman died Saturday evening after being struck by a vehicle in the Township of Hamilton, according to Daily Voice.
The fatal incident took place at the intersection of Millville Avenue and Route 40, in the Mays Landing area. It was first reported at around 7:58 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but the Township of Hamilton Police said the female pedestrian was crossing Millville Avenue when she was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 53-year-old man.
The victim died as a result of her injuries at the scene.
Officials indicated the driver stayed after the crash and cooperated with an investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed.
