Wrong-way crash on I-80 in Morris County kills 1

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – WRNJ Radio reports that a wrong-way crash on I-80 in Morris County left one driver dead on Saturday.

Authorities say the crash took place around 4:00 a.m. near milepost 46.2 on I-80 when a driver of a Toyota Rav4 was heading west in the eastbound lanes of the interstate and collided with a tractor-trailer travelling east head-on.

The driver of the Toyota was killed in the impact, while the driver of the tractor-trailer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details have been released at this time. Police continue to investigate.
