Pedestrian killed in apparent hit-and-run crash in Livingston

LIVINGSTON, NJ – A woman was killed in an apparent hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Livingston late Thursday night, according to information from the Daily Voice.

The crash happened at around 11:30 p.m. in the 300 block of W South Orange Avenue, near Goodhart Drive, when a female pedestrian was struck by a driver who then appears to have fled the scene.

The victim was found lying in the roadway with severe injuries and was later pronounced dead. Her identity was not immediately released pending family notification.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and search for the suspect driver.
