WYCKOFF, NJ – The Daily Voice reports that two pedestrians were struck and injured after being hit by an SUV in Wyckoff on Tuesday morning.
Authorities say the crash took place around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue and Cedar Hill Avenue. Two women, one 87 years old and the other 42 years old, were crossing the street when a 77-year-old driver of a Chevy SUV struck them.
The 77-year-old pedestrian sustained serious injuries to her upper body, and the 42-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries to her head and face. Both pedestrians were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured and stayed on the scene, cooperating with first responders. Police continue to investigate this incident.
