TOMS RIVER, NJ – A driver was airlifted to the hospital after he crashed into the side of a home in Toms River late Friday night, according to information from the Daily Voice.
The crash happened on Cox Cro Road at around 11:25 p.m., when a 23-year-old driver from Jackson reportedly drove through multiple yards and fences before crashing into the side of a home.
The driver was extricated from his vehicle, then was airlifted to the hospital in Jersey Shore.
No injuries were immediately reported from the occupants of the home.
He reportedly was operating his vehicle with a suspended license. He received citations for reckless driving, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, failing to show insurance, and failing to maintain a single lane. Further charges may be pending.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
