Woman Assisting Vehicles at Crash Site Killed by Vehicle

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ- A woman who stopped to assist a disabled Jeep in a Route 30 accident on Wednesday night was struck by another vehicle and killed, according to NJ.com.

At approximately 10:00pm, a Jeep struck the center median of eastbound Route 30 and became disabled. This caused multiple people to stop and assist the Jeep driver in the left lane. However, a 19-year-old driver lost control of her Toyota near the site of the original crash and hit 57-year-old Teresa Callaway, killing her.

Occupants of both vehicles were treated for minor injuries at the scene of the crash, whereas Callaway was pronounced dead at the scene.
